Discern your part in the Community
Accept our invitation to come and see what happens inside a real 21st Century women’s Monastery. You have not seen us in your history book. A member of our vocation team will host an evening of recreation, a day of spiritual renewal or a simple meal with wonderful women and guests.
We welcome any questions you have and encourage you to share fears and concerns you might have about living a religious life. The Vocation Director, S. Marie Fujan, will accompany you in this discernment process. All members of the Vocation Team have been in your place –asking the same questions at one point in their life, so we encourage you to take this opportunity to ask!
| Meet the Vocation Team |
 S. Marie Fujan OSB, Vocation Director, is the Pastoral Care Coordinator at Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake, in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is a culmination of the various ministries S. Marie has been involved in and is an opportunity to enjoy life each moment of every day.
Retirement looks more appealing if it can be combined with traveling and visiting. after her stint as Prioress, S. Marie drove to the West coast visiting monasteries, friends, and relatives -- a highlight after eight years in leadership.

 S. Virginia Matter OSB is a spiritual director with the monastery's retreat center. She considers it a privilege to journey with women and men discerning their spiritual hunger and inner calling. "I will be happy to walk with you as you experience our rich Benedictine prayer and community life. I look forward to hearing about your life and interests."
