Calling Us ‘Anew’
In today’s world we are so caught up in busyness and routine that we forget who we are and where we are going. We tend to live in a weariness that tempts us to look backwards, which blinds us to the newness of what is here and now. Letting go – of past, of busyness, of routine – can be difficult, but can allow us to look ahead to the blessings of each day.
God is always calling us anew….calling us to follow where Jesus has gone before. We are daily given opportunities to be brand new as we are called to balance in our discipleship the conviction of faith and the action of compassion.
Happiness is God’s kingdom within us – we find it when we become aware of God’s presence within us. We hear the call to look forward, to look deep within ourselves at the gifts God has placed there. We are called to use these gifts to serve a hurting and waiting world.
Who are we and where are we going?
Ministry of Mothers Sharing is about this spiritual awakening, embracing our giftedness and placing ourselves in service to the guiding of the Holy Spirit.
Ministry of Mothers Sharing...
- gathers women together to form a network of mutual spiritual support.
- provides group experience of learning, praying and ministering to each other.
- introduces women to opportunities for personal and spiritual growth in a faith sharing group.
- increases communication skills and the use of prayer rituals in the home.
