Monastery Virtual Open Door and Support a Sister Fundraiser

Dear Friends of the Sisters of St. Paul’s Monastery,

Truly, the world is living in remarkable days, and it is no different here at St. Paul’s Monastery. Please know that we have missed seeing you—our dear friends—face to face, and we long for the day we can celebrate together again in person.

Even though the Monastery is currently not able to physically accept guests, the Sisters of St. Paul’s Monastery still seek to serve and welcome all as Christ in whatever way we can. In addition to each Sister’s personal prayers, our Community gathers three times each day for Liturgy of the Hours, a prayer that calls each of us to reach out to our world in need.

We have all been affected in some way by the COVID-19 pandemic, whether through the illness itself or by anxiety, job loss, grief, or feeling isolated or disconnected from friends and family. We invite you to connect with us as we continue to lift your needs and the intentions of the world to God in prayer.

While we are socially distancing, we are spiritually bonding!

From the comfort of your home, we invite you to our home for a special “Monastery Virtual Open Door” from May 2430. See what the Sisters are doing! Join us on the St. Paul’s Monastery Facebook page each day for a special sneak peek into life at the Monastery. Prioress Sister Catherine and the Monastic Leadership Team will introduce our week of daily videos, which include a virtual tour of the Monastery, Community prayers, special messages from individual Sisters, and more!

Since we were unable to offer the Prioress Dinner and fundraiser this year, and as we open our doors to you in a new way, we ask you to consider a new way of supporting us. If you are able, please consider a donation to help Support a Sister Sheltering in Place. This will assist us and our ministries especially now! Your donation will alleviate the burden of necessary expenses in support of our Community, including medical supplies, food and daily needs of all the Sisters.
