LINDA ANDERSON

I believe this "new" way of association has deepened my whole life in seeking God and living Gospel values.

Linda Anderson, Benedictine Associate, 2018.

As I look at the year so far, I believe this “new” way of association has deepened my whole life in seeking God and living Gospel values. Through the process of being a Benedictine Associate, the formation and lived experience has enriched my life and my work. I’ve been able to formulate a personal understanding of the Benedictine values as they apply to daily life and our interactions with others, always being called to love the other and placing their needs before my own. This community of Sisters, through their wisdom and sharing, has helped me to see, reflect, and share with others how this little Rule can bring you closer to God and better able to carry Christ’s message of love to others.

This year has included a variety of experiences; workshops, visited another Benedictine Monastery, increased liturgical ministry & committee involvement, great community experiences, study & reflection of books & other materials, small group sharing, and a deep growing love for God and this great community of sisters.
