We greatly enjoyed celebrating the Week of the Young Child April 8-12.  Each day had a special focus:

 Monday – School Spirit Day – we wore our school colors (green and purple).

Tuesday – Literacy Day – children were invited to bring in a favorite book to share.

Wednesday – Parent Appreciation Day – each parent received a MT chip clip and a note from their child.  The Rad Zoo visited on this day.  Pictured above is the owner, Jamie, and preschooler, Jack Massey.

Thursday – Child Appreciation Day – We had parties in each room and gave the children a coupon for a free meal at Texas Roadhouse.

Friday – Teacher Appreciation Day – Each teacher received a card of appreciation and a DQ gift card.  We also had ice cream treats, and many parents sent in remembrances.   The children enjoyed Dancercise on this day, as well.
